   Dale Schroeder

Dale Schroeder practices in Texas as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). In addition, he is also a Certified Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association (DAPA), Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART), Certified Professional Counseling Educator (CPCE), and Certified Clinical Faith-Based Counselor (CCFBC).

Mr. Schroeder offers specialized coaching services for persons not specifically seeking psychotherapy as well. He is a Certified Money Habitudes Coach, helping people understand their attitudes and habits about money and the impact on their lives and relationships. As a registered coach for singles through the Relationship Coaching Institute, he assists singles in understanding the pitfalls and "blindspots" in their dating practices so they may become more proactive and informed in the pre-commitment stages of their relationships. 

Mr. Schroeder offers clients both a unique and extensive blend of experiences in the treatment of psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Herhps been in professional practice for over 28 years in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient programs. 

 He spent most of the first ten years of his career serving as a staff psychotherapist at Rapha Treatment Centers, a national leader in Christian inpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospitalizations in the 1990's. There he provided individual, family, and group psychotherapy as well as case management services. Though already maintaining a small part- time practice for several years, he transitioned into full-time practice in 1997. 

Additionally, Mr. Schroeder is a facilitator for Couple Communication workshops and is a popular speaker to churches, businesses, and schools. He is listed in the Nationwide Register's Who's Who in Executives and Businesses and has been a frequent radio guest addressing mental health issues. He is also the author of numerous articles and several columns on counseling and the family. 

 Possessing a warm, engaging, and humorous style, he quickly puts clients at ease while beginning a therapeutic relationship. 

 Dale and his family are very active in their local church. He has served in such capacities as a Bible study teacher, "Search for Significance" group facilitator, Point Person, Deacon, and Elder. Other passions include writing, music, and sports. He is the father of two adult children…both engineers. He proudly claims no genetic contribution to any mathematics or physics abilities and instead credits their brillant mother. Dale resides with his lovely wife of 30 years in San Antonio.
